The University of Northern Colorado seeks to hire an adjunct instructor in filmmaking for the 2017-18 school year. Candidates should possess a PhD or an MFA degree in filmmaking or video production by start of employment in August 2017. The hire will teach introduction to video production with the potential for additional classes this year and beyond. She/he should therefore also be able to teach courses in documentary film, basic and advanced screenwriting, and introduction to film and screen studies. Advanced knowledge and experience in other aspects of film production (e.g., directing, acting, cinematography, editing, sound, set design, and/or digital effects) are an asset.
