It’s never been a better time to pursue a career in film, television or multimedia, and Colorado is the premier location to jump-start that career. With several film institutions to choose from, Colorado filmmaking students study a variety of specialties and can be assured they will receive a world-class education.
The Colorado Office of Film, Television and Media (COFTM) has been an avid supporter of Colorado film programs all over the state, providing education grants to several institutions, including the Colorado Film School, Colorado Mountain College, Pueblo Community College and Warren Tech. The purpose of the institutional educational grant is to help fund real production experiences for high school and college students. Grants up to $5,000 are awarded to support experiential learning opportunities, such as the production of an original documentary over the course of a semester that then appears on public television.
