The ACT Human Rights Film Festival Program Coordinator is the program and guest relations specialist for the Department of Communication Studies’ Human Rights Film Festival, which occurs annually in April across 10 days. This dynamic role is responsible for: leading the ACT program committee; coordinating film, guest, and moderator curation; overseeing the festival schedule; booking guest travel and lodging arrangements; coordinating contractor services; developing screening partnerships; managing venue and equipment rental relationships; growing Call 2 ACT nonprofit participation; coordinating and executing pre-festival events; overseeing festival volunteer management; developing relationships with other Colorado and human rights film festivals; attending and volunteering at film festivals in Colorado; and, working closely with the entire festival team (producer, director of programming, director of marketing and engagement, box office specialist, and theater and technical managers) to ensure ongoing the development and seamless execution of the only human rights film festival occurring in the inner mountain west.
